Renovate Buildings 55 & 152 for Littoral Combat Ship

Menco Pacific served as the prime contractor on this project which included interior renovations and installation of approximately 250 total cubicle computer work stations located in buildings 55 and 152 for the new Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) operations space at Naval Base San Diego. Renovation scope for Building 55 included electrical upgrades, telephone (Navy Computer & Telecomm Station) connections, and NMCI (Navy Marine Corp Intranet) connections for fifty (50) new workstations to support the facility. Scope of work for Building 152 included complete demolition of the interior space, and construction of new interior walls, doors, carpeting/flooring, restroom facilities, as well as electrical upgrades, telephone, and data drops for one-hundred fifty (150) new workstations. Menco also installed all new equipment and cubicle furniture to support all new workstations. This project was completed on time, within budget, and with zero safety-related incidents to the complete satisfaction of the Government.

Safety Repairs to Running Track on Miramar Way

Menco Pacific served as the prime contractor on this project which included the much needed safety repairs and extension to the existing running track along Miramar Way at MCAS Miramar, CA. The existing track intersections were a hazard to runners and street traffic. The scope of work included demolition of existing intersections along Miramar Way and the placement of a new asphalt running track section to match exisitng. Menco Pacific painted all new crosswalks, track lines, and provided traffic control to ensure minimal impact to traffic in these busy intersections. This project was completed on time, within budget, and with zero safety-related incidents to the complete satisfaction of the Government.

Resurface Shower Pans in Building 585 Barracks

Menco Pacific served as the prime contractor on this project which included the preparation and application of multi-layered shower pan coatings for barracks in Building 585 Squad Bay #B-3 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, CA. The old, outdated shower pans were failing and creating damage to surrounding areas. Menco Pacific demolished the existing shower floor, prepared the surfaces and installed new epoxy coating on each shower pan for all 11 Squad Bays, which each housed 2 shower rooms. Additional work included re-plumbing of the shower drains and drywall repair and repainting near the shower pan work area. This project was completed on time, within budget, and with zero safety-related incidents to the complete satisfaction of the Government.

Install Truck Scale System

Menco Pacific served as the prime contractor on this project which involved the installation of an above ground “IN-BOUND & OUTBOUND” 100-ton capacity Truck Scale System and 70’ x 11’ platform concrete foundation to support the scale at the Recycling Center Building 6310 at MCAS Miramar, CA. The scale was calibrated to acceptable Agriculture Weights and Measures standards and certified. Menco Pacific trained all operators in the use of the new Truck Scale system. This project was completed on time, within budget, and with zero safety-related incidents to the complete satisfaction of the Government.
